1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the tools and services provided by FireflyProtector (including PyConfuser, Lua VirtualBox, and others), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Usage Restrictions (No Malware Policy)

Strict Prohibition: You are strictly prohibited from using our services to obfuscate, pack, or protect malicious software ("malware"), including but not limited to: viruses, trojans, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, or any code intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to computer systems.

Violation Consequence: If we detect or have reason to believe that you are using our tools for malicious purposes, we reserve the right to:

  • Immediately terminate your access to our services.
  • Report your activity and IP address to relevant law enforcement and security organizations.
  • Blacklist your cryptographic keys or licenses.

3. Limitation of Liability

Tool Usage: While we (the FireflyProtector Team) take responsibility for the content of this website as stated in our Legal Notice (Impressum), we explicitly disclaim all liability for the actions of our users or the consequences of using our software.

Our tools are neutral technologies designed for the protection of legitimate intellectual property. We cannot control how they are used once downloaded or accessed. You, the user, bear full legal responsibility for any software you protect or distribute using our tools.

No Warranty: The services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the protection provided by our tools is unbreakable or that it will not trigger false positives with antivirus software.

4. Intellectual Property

The obfuscation engines, algorithms, and web interfaces provided by FireflyProtector remain the intellectual property of the FireflyProtector Team. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use these tools to protect your own code.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
